Bottom Line
The FE791SB offers great image quality for both text and graphics and a reasonable price for an appealing overall package.
NEC-Mitsubishi MultiSync FE791SB

WHAT'S HOT: The FE791SB renders both text and graphics extremely well. Both black-on-white and reverse text comes through clearly and legibly, and color images and photographs look realistic and well saturated. NEC-Mitsubishi adds a nifty extra to the monitor: A button on the front panel lets you quickly choose from three preset brightness levels. (You can still adjust the brightness level to your preference using the standard menu option.)
WHAT'S NOT: Though the buttons on the panel are well laid out, the main navigation menu is labeled with icons rather than words, so you have to check the manual or go into the submenus--which use both icons and word labels--to determine what setting you're in.
WHAT ELSE: In addition to the brightness control button, the navigation panel consists of a reset button and five other buttons for navigating the menus, arranged in an easy and intuitive manner. A small user manual includes lots of information about controls, specifications, monitor setup, and troubleshooting.
UPSHOT: The FE791SB offers great image quality for both text and graphics and a reasonable price for an appealing overall package.
