Get more for less: This month's roster of digital cameras under $500 is dominated by 3- and 4-megapixel models, with only a pair of cheaper 2-megapixel units in the lower reaches. The first cameras to use the new XD-Picture Card memory cards debut, with the Fujifilm FinePix 3800 Zoom coming in at second place and the company's FinePix A303 finishing at seventh. This new type of memory card is smaller and faster than other kinds. It is also a little more expensive: A 128MB XD-Picture Card costs about $80, while a similar CompactFlash card costs $50.
