Two newcomers displace the reigning Dell UltraSharp 1703FP. Propelled by excellent image quality and a very low price, LG Electronics' Flatron L1710SK vaults to the top of the chart, while the Sharp LL-172A-B's superb text reproduction earns it the second spot. ViewSonic's well-rounded VP171s takes fourth place with its blend of performance and adjustability. Sony's new SDM-HS74P wowed our panelists with the best graphics we've seen on a 17-inch flat-panel monitor lately, but its high price kept it from climbing above number six. NEC's stylish MultiSync LCD1735NXM debuts at number seven.
