Plan the Network Layout
The network hub acts as the network data traffic cop, so you'll need to place it at a location central to your PCs and near an AC outlet. You'll also need to ensure that the cables you'll be plugging into each of the hub's ports are long enough to reach the appropriate PCs and won't get stepped on or moved.
