Gadget News: Apple's Long-Awaited Video IPod
After years of rumors, Apple recently announced two new IPods that can play video. The 30GB ($299) and 60GB ($399) IPods are available in black or the traditional white.
Gadget Review: Music Phones From Motorola and Sony Ericsson
PC World "Dialed In" columnist Grace Aquino got a chance to test two new cell phones that also act as MP3 players: Motorola's Rokr (the first phone with Apple's ITunes) and Sony Ericsson's W800i Walkman. Her verdict: Neither phone was a solid hit, though each produced some sweet notes here and there.
PDA News: Palm's Latest Wireless and Budget Models
At $299, the new Palm TX brings down the cost of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity on Palm OS handhelds. The Palm TX features about 100MB of user-accessible flash memory, which can store data even if the device loses battery power. At the same time, Palm announced the Z22, a $99 color PDA with 20MB of user-accessible flash memory, but no wireless connectivity. Find out more in "Palm Unveils Wireless, Color PDAs."
