Gadget Review: Satellite Radio on the Go
The Sirius S50 ($330) combines an in-car satellite radio dock with a removable, portable music player that can store up to 50 hours of audio on 1GB of flash memory. Though it's a bit pricey, the Sirius S50 provides a steady stream of music you can record and listen to anywhere, says PC World reviewer Paul Jasper.
Business Travel News: Registered Traveler Program Starts Soon
The TSA's Registered Traveler program, designed to expedite security checks of prescreened airline passengers, is set to begin nationwide in June. Low-risk passengers will use smart cards that store fingerprint biometric data to identify themselves to airport security when they check in.
Gadget News: Cell Phone Backup
Steve Bass, of "Tips & Tweaks" fame, has come across a couple of gadgets designed to back up your cell phone's contacts. About the size of a beer coaster, BackupPal connects to your phone via USB cable or infrared connection; it will cost $30 to $40 when it's available in April. Then there's the $50 CellStick, which, unlike BackupPal, lets you save your cell phone data to your PC.
