Microsoft Windows Vista finally launched to consumers this week, and the PC World forums have been buzzing with discussions about its merits and faults.
One of the things that I find most interesting about the reactions to our Vista coverage is that some people think we're hyping Vista. Although we have published stories advocating the upgrade, we have also run articles citing reasons not to switch. It seems like pretty even coverage to me, but I'd like to hear more about what you think.
Come to the forums and tell us what you think, both about Vista and PC World's coverage. And be sure to take our poll to let us know if you're jumping on board--and to see what other community members are doing.

Windows Vista: 15 Reasons to Switch
drwhen says: So here we go again. We have to play the game of seeing how long we can keep XP running before Microsoft forces us to buy new hardware to run its latest bloatware OS.
attilajones says: My biggest problem with Vista is that there is no admin pack, so I can't upgrade my company's computers to it without losing a large amount of control.
DellsCommunistCapo says: I have it, and I like it. It's got a bit of a learning curve, but other than that, it's smooth.
gundark says: Personally, I don't care for the desktop widgets, but that's just my opinion. The 3D window preview is cool, but really taxes the system. I thought the best new feature is the media center capability.

Wait! Don't Buy Microsoft Windows Vista!
poltrang says: It sounds to me that the stuff Microsoft is offering with Vista is absolutely not worth to pay for. Generally I reckon that Vista will end like Windows Me (which actually was loaded with similar-grade junk).
tonyatn says: Upgrading to Vista is a way to keep all the guys at Microsoft simply rich. Just innovate a new operating system every five years or so and this keeps the money and revenues coming in. What else is capitalism in America all about?
Skunky says: Vista ... won't be able to run a lot of the graphics cards that high-end gamers and many regular users have in their machines. For a gamer, that is a big problem.

Community Poll: Are You Ready for Vista?
phillypa800 says: I personally have no desire to upgrade to Vista. I am happy with my XP Home. However, I am willing to try it out on someone else's problematic computer.
sin91 says: The price of Windows Vista is insane. The only version that is a reasonable price is the Home Basic edition and that sucks. I say wait till the price goes down. Paying that much money for an OS is just silly. It looks amazing, though.
randy221805 says: I have Vista on this system but I have to work out a few kinks before I use it more.
dacohenz says: I will probably load Vista on one of my secondary computers and play, but I won't upgrade [my main PC] until the majority of bugs have been worked out.
