Who's Who on the Web: Make the Most of WhoIs Tools
ICANN's WhoIs database is a vital resource for anyone who owns a domain or is looking to acquire one. The database lists ownership information for all domains registered using .com, .net, .org, or another popular top-level domain. Alternatively, Gennady Feldman's free Win32Whois application delivers the same data in a graphical interface.
