S-squared Free: There are several settings to choose from. I recommend it for any PC toolbox if you're looking for an extra scan for malware. I really enjoy the update feature.

ZR800 Mini DV Digital Camcorder: I have used mine for over a month and I find it easy to use. It produces excellent quality video, has great special effects, and the variable zoom speed and manual settings all blend to make a great camcorder. It is also very easy to edit recordings and, if you have Firewire, editing on computer is a breeze. My suggestion is to play with all the features this camera has and you will have a blast.

Fujifilm FinePix S5200: The Fujifilm FinePix S 5200 Digital Camera excels in many areas and has earned itself the top ranking in the few digital cameras I have owned. All in all, this camera is great. If you're looking for a camera for general purposes, but want superior quality, then get this one. Note, however, that this camera isn't exactly "compact" and requires a case of its own (can't simply pocket this one).

Lenovo ThinkPad X60 Tablet: I was shipped a defective machine--bottom third of the screen jittered. Because I am dependent on my tablet, I paid for the on-site service option. First repairman left the machine unusable. Second one took it in for repair six weeks ago. No promise of when it will be fixed. Won't replace it. I've demanded RMA and refund. No cooperation.

Creative Zen VisionM: The menu is great! Rather easy to get through. I really like how sturdy it is, too. For a hard disk-based player it sure takes a beating. Photos look stunning on it. No more converting my movies and "Family Guy" eps--every video format ever made goes on this thing simply with a drag and drop of the file. It syncs flawlessly with Windows Media Player 11, no software needed. I absolutely love the Zen Vision M and could never imagine going with another iPod.

HP-T4254 42" Plasma TV: My father watched golf as if it were in 3D. The picture quality is unmatched--15000 to 1 contrast makes all the difference. HDMI connections are a must and the Samsung has three. The set swivels and is an absolutely beautiful gloss black. Plus it barely tips the scale at 70 pounds. I love the HDTV tuner--free programming is a must. PIP is great for watching a movie with a game going at the same time.
