The FIFA series just can't seem to get enough of Ronaldinho these days. Electronic Arts has announced that the international soccer superstar and FIFA cover boy will appear as the host of a new game mode, which will be found in the upcoming soccer title FIFA 08. However, due to the unique control scheme required by this mode, this feature will be available only in the Wii version of the title.

This mode, which has been named "Footii Party with Ronaldinho", will contain a set of multiplayer party games, including "Table Football" and "Shoot Off". Although the company has not yet specified what sorts of mini-games they will be, it is likely that, just like most other titles in the Wii library, they will emphasize the unique aspects of the Wii's remote controller.

Ronadinho himself commented on the appearance of his very own game mode, and seems quite happy with the decision.

"My character looks like he enjoys playing football and shares my passion for the game," the superstar athlete commented. "This is important to me. Whether you are playing football on the pitch or my party games in FIFA 08 on the Wii, it should be a fun and enjoyable experience."

Besides the Wii version, FIFA 08 will also be available on PS3, Xbox 360, PC, PS2, DS, PSP, and mobile phones sometime this fall.
