Sony has apologized to the Church of England for using the Manchester Cathedral as a backdrop to one of its games. Some of you feel that the apology wasn't enough, while others think that Sony shouldn't have had to apologize. What do you think? Read the news report and let us know.
iPhone users are unhappy about Apple's announced battery replacement policy. People who read the Macworld report have mixed responses: Some think it's a ripoff; some have no sympathy for iPhone buyers; and one iPhone buyer doesn't want any sympathy.
Have you had problems with your Microsoft Xbox 360? A recent report says that the failure rate is about 33 percent, and many of you are already on your third and fourth machines. Let us know what your experience has been.

Sony Apologizes to Church
ousooner54 says: Just how sincere is their apology when they refuse to do anything, other than keep taking profits from the game into their coffers? "We're sorry, but don't expect us to do anything about it, as it might affect our bottom line." Corporate greed at its finest. A little more foresight would have stopped this before it happened, but now they add more insult to the situation by doing nothing.
IntelliMoo says: In my view Sony just keeps digging themselves deeper as a loser company, this time for apologizing just because some religious group is upset. They'd better not change or pull the game, or I for one will lose all respect--or what little I have left for them.
jyin87 says: Censorship is one of the greatest evils. If Sony gives into their demands they should be shot.
GraysonPeddie says: I respect the Church. Sony? No respect and I won't buy a PS3 because of that.

Users Blast iPhone Battery Policy
Inverse137 says: Call me naive, but if you don't like the battery policy then don't buy the phone. It isn't like Apple released the phone and didn't disclose that the battery was only good for about 350 cycles.
auresi says: It is widely known that Apple designs its overpriced products to continue milking you after you have purchased them. The iPhone's expensive battery replacement policy is just the latest example of a long history that confirms this.
jmartalo says: I have zero sympathy for iPhone suckers. They had to have their precious iPhone now, so they didn't do their homework. They didn't wait for a few months to see exactly what the problems would be with it.
spiitz says: You do not need to have any sympathy for me. I love the iPhone and bought one the first day. I have never owned another Apple product, but knew I wanted an iPhone after researching it thoroughly. I have been extremely happy so far.

Estimates Say Xbox 360 Failure Rate as High as 33 Percent
Kmach says: Some stores are increasing their warranty price on the console while the warranty prices on competing consoles are staying the same. Some repair centers are now refusing to fix the 360's RROD due to the high volume of units being sent in. Seriously, there has never been a game console that has had this high of a failure rate. I have been through four units personally.
cjwteach says: My son's 360 unit failed in less than a day. We returned the unit to EB Games with no trouble, and purchased the extended warranty. What annoys me, though, is that you feel you have to buy protection for something that ought to work in the first place. What happened to good workmanship? How about standing behind your product?
hnavp66 says: I'm on my third 360. E-mails and calls to Microsoft have gone ignored, or you get the runaround with a canned e-mail response. I won't buy mail order anymore (sorry Amazon!). Instead I purchased the second unit from Best Buy and got the warranty, which I've already used when unit two failed. It's only a matter of time until unit three fails (it's already skipping).
