Office 2004 11.3.6 Update Fixes Security

Microsoft has released Office 2004 for Mac 11.3.6 Update, available for download through the Web site or using Office’s updater software. It measures 15.4MB and works with Office 2004 Standard, Student, Teacher and Professional Editions.

The new release fixes a vulnerability that an attacker can use to overwrite the contents of your computer’s memory with malicious code, according to Microsoft. It also fixes a problem with using public folders in Entourage, and includes the latest Japanese postal code information.

System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.2.8 or later.
