Apple has released MacBook Pro EFI Firmware Update 1.3. The firmware update is intended specifically for 2.2GHz and 2.4GHz 15-inch MacBook Pro models.

Apple says the EFI firmware update fixes a display issue on these systems. The update requires MacBook Pro Software Update 1.0, which was released in late June.

The update requires Mac OS X v10.4.9 or later.
