SNK announced on Wednesday the release of several NeoGeo greatest hit titles for Wii's Virtual Console.
Key games will include Fatal Fury, World of Heroes, and Art of Fighting all of which are 2D fighters. Additional titles will follow in the coming months all costing 900 Wii points (US$9).
NeoGeo saw limited success upon its launch in 1990 until 1994 selling only 1 million units due to the high price of the console and individual games.
The console debuted for a whopping $650 (and you thought the PS3 was expensive) with games costing $200 a piece (and you though $60 games were expensive). The platform lives on thanks to Wii's digital distribution.
