MarsEdit Weblog Editor Gets Updated

Red Sweater Software has released an update to its popular blogging software, MarsEdit. While mainly a maintenance release, MarsEdit 2.0.3 also includes a new handy feature.

The new version adds an item in the markup menu called "Do Again," which repeats the last applied item.

There are numerous bug fixes in this version including fixing a false warning of empty categories when only a new category is set; the icon no longer bounces when editing in an external editor; for Movable Type a bug was fixed the caused _1 to be appened to slugs; and several other fixes.

The update is free for registered users of MarsEdit 2.0 - the application, which works with Blogger, Blosxom, Drupal, LiveJournal, Movable Type, TypePad, WordPress and others, costs $29.95.
