Ecamm Network has announced the release of iPhoneDrive 1.2, an updated version of their software which lets the iPhone and iPod touch be used like a disk for portable storage. It's a free update for registered users and costs $9.95.

iPhoneDrive essentially lets you use your iPhone or iPod touch as a backup for file storage. The new 1.2 release goes a step further by providing you with access to the iTunes and iPhoto media you have stored in your iPhone. You can also access music videos, television shows and movies you're storing on your phone.

Also new in 1.2 are enhancements to the file storage feature, making it easier for you to move files between the Mac and the phone or iPod.

System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.4.10 or later, iTunes 7.3 or later and an iPhone or iPod touch. The software is a Universal binary.
