Barnes & Noble Inc. has teamed with Digby, a mobile commerce service provider, to sell books, CDs and DVDs to users of BlackBerry devices.
The Barnes & Noble Storefront for BlackBerries includes full product descriptions and images, a mobile shopping cart that allows users to buy multiple products from multiple vendors in one order and support for secure transactions and password-protected purchases.
"Consumers now have a fully stocked Barnes & Noble right on their BlackBerry, with access to hundreds of thousands of products available for delivery in three business days or less," said BarnesandNoble.com LLC CEO Marie Toulantis, in a statement.
Users can download the Barnes & Noble Storefront on all BlackBerry smart phones.
