Led Zeppelin Downloads Finally Coming to Online Retailers

One of the most popular rock bands of all time will soon have its music for sale at online music retailers. Led Zeppelin's entire music catalog will be available starting on November 13, but there was no clear word whether Apple's iTunes would be among the retailers.

Representatives from the band's record label did not return calls seeking confirmation of iTunes inclusion as one of the online retailers. Apple declined to comment for this story.

Zeppelin's music will be available as full album and a la carte download. The albums being made available include Led Zeppelin (1969), Led Zeppelin II (1969), Led Zeppelin III (1970), Untitled fourth album (1971), Houses Of The Holy (1973), Physical Graffiti (1975), Presence (1976), The Song Remains The Same (1976; recently remixed and remastered for reissue on November 20), In Through The Out Door (1979), Coda (1982), How The West Was Won (2003), and Mothership (available November 13).

"We are pleased that the complete Led Zeppelin catalog will now be available digitally," said Zeppelin's legendary guitarist, Jimmy Page. "The addition of the digital option will better enable fans to obtain our music in whichever manner that they prefer."

Led Zeppelin has sold 300 million albums worldwide.

Led Zeppelin will hold its first concert in almost 20 years on November 26 in London, England. More than 1 million people registered to get one of the 10,000 available tickets.
