Coolest Audio Player: iPod Touch

This beautifully designed media player is like a slim iPhone sans phone--but it's marred by some early hardware and software issues. Think of it as an iPhone without the phone, and you've got one of the coolest products of the year--with the minor exception of the TV commercials. It's got Wi-Fi, mobile Safari, the Multi-touch interface, and twice the iPhone's storage capacity at 16GB. Yes, the $399 16GB iPod Touch isn't perfect. There is a screen anomaly that makes dark movies scenes difficult to watch and a few software bugs that halt music playback when browsing pages in Safari.
