Nintendo of Japan launched the Everybody's Nintendo Channel on Tuesday, which grants Wii owners the ability to download DS game demos in addition to viewing promotional videos of upcoming games.

The DS demos are temporarily stored on the handheld's internal memory and removed when the system is turned off.

In addition to playable demos, Wii owners can also view commercials, gameplay footage, box art, screenshots, and interviews about various Nintendo products including release dates and prices for upcoming DS and Wii games.

The new channel also incorporates a game recommendation system based on you play history, age, and gender preferences.

No word yet on when the service will launch outside of Japan.
