IDG World Expo on Wednesday announced that Microsoft is offering a full day of training on its new Office 2008 productivity software package during Macworld Expo. The course will be offered from 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM on Monday, January 14th, and interested parties can register online at the Macworld Expo Web site for US$199.

The day-long class comprises 11 individual sessions on topics ranging from Office 2008's new user interface to its individual applications -- Word, Excel, Entourage and PowerPoint -- working in corporate environments, Automator workflows, integration between the applications and between platforms, and advanced tips and tricks.

The registration fee also provides users with access to Macworld Expo exhibit halls when they open on Tuesday, January 15th.

IDG World Expo and Macworld publisher Mac Publishing are both owned by International Data Group (IDG).
