Enter my savior, a Wi-Fi-based Lexmark Z1420 printer, which I bought in utter frustration after repeatedly hunting for my old printer's USB cord. The Z1420 is almost a bottom-of-the-line model, but who cares--I can use it with all my Wi-Fi-equipped computers. Now, when I need to print out driving directions, I can feel the full effect of wireless freedom.
