New games Chess and Backgammon and Naval Battle have been made available through iTunes.
Chess and Backgammon (€3.99) includes both traditional board game classics, pitting owners of the latest generation iPods in intensive strategic struggles.
The games follows all the official rules, offer adaptable difficulty levels with extra tough modes for advanced players and can be played in 2D or 3D through a number of different themes.
A little like Battleships, Naval Battle (€3.99) plays through a grid-like interface. Players must take control of their fleet through numerous environments (Antarctica and the Pacific Rim, for example). Ships have unique weapons, and players must position them carefully on the grid to play.
