Drivers using Google Maps for directions will now be able to see real-life photos of their routes following the addition of Street View to the service.

Street View provides drivers with actual photographs of the roads where they will be required to make a turn at a junction or change direction.

By simply clicking on the camera icon next to the directions in the left-hand side of the browser, users can action the function, which also a visible route line added to the actual photographs.

Sadly, Street View for Google Maps is only currently available for 44 regions of the U.S.
