An update to MegaSeg brings more than 40 improvements and fixes to the DJ mixer and radio automation system, software maker Fidelity Media announced Tuesday.

Changes introduced in MegaSeg 4.5 include support for OS X 10.5.3, improved compatibility with multiple audio output devices, and new MIDI control functions and presets. The update also adds a number of Mac-specific improvements including drag-and-drop from iTunes, AppleScript support, and compatibility with the Apple Remote.

MegaSeg 4.5 is a free update for 4.0 users; owners of older versions can upgrade for US$79. The professional DJ audio and video mixing, automation, and scheduling system sells for $249. The software runs on PowerPC- and Intel-based systems running OS X 10.3 and later.
