RealNetworks' RealJukebox is a fantastic all-in-one music player and recorder capable of handling all sorts of digital music and burning hot tracks onto CD-Recordables.
But even if you'll never record a single disc, RealJukebox still makes for one awesome MP3 and CD player-as long as you configure it the right way. First, turn off automatic recording--by default, RealJukebox wants to begin ripping a track as soon as you start playing. Choosing Options, Preferences and clicking on the General tab. Clear the "Start recording the CD" box under the Inserting a CD section. Make sure the "Start playing the CD" box is checked. Next, click the Update tab and check the Music File Types section at the bottom of the dialog. If the Settings button's dimmed, RealJukebox is set to play MP3, Windows .wav, and audio CD files (among other formats). If the Setting button isn't dimmed, click the "Make RealJukebox Plus my default player" button. Finally, click OK.
