Amid "isolated" reports of unsatisfied World Tour owners, Activision has released a free PC application to correct drum sensitivity issues.
The application (available here) connects to the drums via a Midi to USB cable and promises to correct any pads requiring an abnormal amount of pressure to register hits. Users without a Midi-USB cord can obtain one free of charge from Activision by filling out this form.
Two days after the release of Guitar Hero: World Tour on all platforms last Sunday, Activision issued a response to what the company called an "isolated" number of drum pads that were not recognizing player hits properly.
GamePro received one drum kit that worked like a charm, and another purchased one where the red snare pad had issues sensing hits. Despite this, we game the game four and a half stars out of five.
