Although the My Passport drive will work on a PC or a Mac, WD also offers the My Passport Studio, specifically for Mac users. This silver drive has a built-in capacity gauge, and comes preformatted in the Mac OS X's HFS+ format, so it will work out of the box with Apple's Time Machine.
