macworld, apple, parodyAre you suffering from withdrawal after Apple's less-than-exciting keynote address at the MacWorld Expo yesterday? Apple VP Phil Schiller may not have introduced a shiny new Mac Mini or iMac, but that hasn't stopped others from dreaming up new possibilities for Mac addicts.

From the Onion News Network we have the MacBook Wheel, an innovative laptop that does away with the keyboard. "Everything is just a few hundred clicks away," said Brian Gilman, Apple's faux Senior Product Innovator. According to ONN, the MacBook Wheel is big on energy savings with a 20-minute lifespan from the hummingbird battery and the screen goes blank after 4 seconds to save even more power. ONN quoted Apple CEO Steve Jobs as saying that people who use keyboards are "standing in the way of human progress." See the video below for the full story.

Then, over with the Simpsons, there's the Mapple Store in Springfield featuring myPhones, myPods and the all-powerful myCube. A computer "fueled by dreams and powered by imagination." Makes you feel all warm inside doesn't it? Here's the clip:
