Verizon Wireless, Vodafone, and Research in Motion announced that the new BlackBerry Storm will go on sale around the world later this year. The most noticeable departure from traditional BlackBerrys is the Storm’s touchscreen: It depresses slightly when pressed and releases with a click, similar to the feeling of a PC keyboard or mouse. Pricing will be announced in the coming weeks.
