Intel announced new processor developments at the Intel Developers Forum in San Francisco. Centrino 2 chipsets for laptops that are faster, less energy-intensive and promote longer battery life were on display. And in the Advanced Technologies Booth, the company showed prototypes of the new Nehalem processor for desktops. Assistant Editor Nick Mediati investigated.
