Print on the Range
Print the same cell range on multiple Excel worksheets.
JoAnne Robb
Here's the situation: you use a template spreadsheet to track the same information every month and keep each month's data on separate worksheets with the same layout. If you've been wondering how you can print the same selection from each worksheet without printing the whole caboodle and throwing away the pages you don't need, wonder no more.
To begin, go to the first worksheet of your spreadsheet--let's call it Sheet 1--and highlight the range of cells you want to print. Once you highlight those cells on the first worksheet, press and hold the Shift key while you click on any other worksheet tabs (in the bottom-left corner of the Excel window) that contain the same range of cells you want to print. As you click the tabs, they change color from gray to white.
Next, click File, Print, and highlight the Selection radio button in the boxed area titled "Print what." Now click the Preview button, and page through your print preview to make sure the right cells print on every page. When you're done looking over the preview, click Print.
