You don't need to throw out reams of paper just to get hard copies of a few key areas of your Excel spreadsheets. Instead, just print noncontiguous sections--without laboriously cutting and pasting those sections into a separate sheet.

On your worksheet, highlight the first range of cells that you want to print. Next, hold down the Ctrl key on your keyboard and scroll to the next section you'd like to print, then highlight the second range of cells. And don't let go of that Ctrl key!

You can highlight as many noncontiguous sections as you want to print, as long as you continue to hold down the Ctrl key while doing so. When you're done making your printing selections, click File, Print and choose the Selection radio button in the box titled "Print what."

Excel prints each separate, noncontiguous section on its own page. If you want to preview the print job first, click the Preview button in the Print dialog box. Otherwise, just click OK in the Print dialog box to print your selection.
