Epson Introduces WorkForce 310 All-in-one Printer

Epson America on Tuesday introduced the WorkForce 310 ink jet all-in-one printer. Compatible with Macs and PCs, the printer will be available in June for US$130.

The workForce 310 is designed for small businesses. It has a built-in Ethernet port and has five individual high-capacity cartridges that use DuraBrite pigment-based ink. It also uses up to 70 percent less power than a laser printer, according to Epson.

The WorkForce 310 outputs up to 16 pages per minute (PPM) in black ink and up to 5.5 pages of color. it features a 30-page automatic document feeder for faxing, copying or scanning stacks of originals, and can fax in black and white and in color. The scanner's optical resolution is 1200 dots per inch (DPI).

The WorkForce 310 is compatible with Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later.
