Gaming News from E3: Live from the Show

The expo opens this week, and already offers star power and blockbuster announcements. Check out Microsoft's news about what's coming to the Xbox.

We just got the word from Sid Shuman, one of GamePro's pairs of eyes at E3, that Microsoft will be introducing full downloadable games from Xbox Live starting in August. By simply using your credit card and bypassing the whole Microsoft Points net, you'll be able to grab titles like Bioshock, Mass Effect, Assassin's Creed, and Civilization Revolution digitally.

Full Games Coming to Xbox Live DLC

Microsoft tells us that new games will be available for download every week, for prices that should compare to those of retail boxes. Those of you without a GameStop nearby: rejoice!
