It isn't hard for your iPhone to become cluttered with information, from contacts to calendar appointments, to nine pages worth of third-party applications. Spotlight search fixes this — simply move one page to the left of the Home Screen and you'll find a search box. Type in your keyword and it will bring up a unified list of search results. You can even customize your results, restricting the information to contacts, apps, notes, mail, calendar, and music or video. Unfortunately Spotlight won't search the contents of an e-mail, but it does bring up results for recipients and subject lines.
