At the 8th annual Research @ Intel Day (held again this year at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, California), the company demonstrated a variety of futuristic projects, including a system for object recognition that looked like a step towards Terminator-style heads-up displays.

Senior writer Darren Gladstone was a willing victim, and he also spent some of his day looking at collaborative techologies for classrooms.
