Peripheral maker Belkin has announced a new line of Comfort Mice -- computer mice designed to offer the optimum position for comfortable use. They'll be available in the U.S. at the end of June. All are Mac-compatible.

(Image Caption: Bluetooth Comfort Mouse) The Wireless Comfort Mouse, priced at $30, includes a USB dongle that doubles as a perch to hold the mouse in place when you move. It uses two AAA batteries and has a "power-save" mode that puts the mouse to sleep after 8 minutes of inactivity. It comes in blue, black, fuschia and red.

The Bluetooth Comfort Mouse, priced at $50, has a laser optical sensor and scroll wheel that supports vertical and horizontal scrolling. It comes in black and white.

The Retractable Comfort Mouse is wired but comes with a retractable cable designed to prevent knots and tangles. It's priced at $20 and comes in black, blue, fuschia and red.

Belkin's Web site had not yet been updated with information on the new products as Macworld posted this article.
