Safari 4.0.2 Update Fixes Stability Issues

Apple on Wednesday updated its Safari Web browser to version 4.0.2. According to Apple's notes, the update improves the stability of the Nitro JavaScript engine and includes the latest compatibility and security fixes.

The 40MB download is available via OS X's Software Update feature, and Apple hadn't updated its security updates support document to include information on the release when this story was published.
