Bill Gates Leaves Facebook, Says It's Too Much Hassle

Chris Brandrick

Being Bill Gates isn't easy. The Microsoft founder recently revealed he had to manage over 10,000 friend requests during his time on the social networking site Facebook.

Gates told a New Dheli business forum crowd that he had been forced to quit the site due to it being "just way too much trouble" to deal with. He also confessed that he is not "a 24-hour-a-day tech person", boldy adding that "All these tools of tech waste our time if we're not careful".

For a fun "unofficial look" at Bill Gates' Facebook page, check out our story on Facebook Pages We'd Like to See.

You can also visit his unofficial fan page or support the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
