Touchscreen Added To Mimo's USB Powered Portable Monitor

Chris Brandrick

Monitor manufactuer Mimo has announced a new addition to their recently revealed dual hinge monitor range.

Earlier this month the company shared details on the 710-S, a portable 7" 800x480 display, which has a unique dual hinge allowing for the monitor to be used in a variety of positions, including a handy folding position for when you're on the move or for when the device is not being used. The device could also double up as an attractive cheap second display option for laptops and netbooks.

Yet despite the recent annoucement of the 710-S, Mimo today added a touch screen option to the range in the form of the 720-S. The 720-S packs all the same features that the 710 boasts, including being powered by a single USB cable, but also gives users the chance to touch their way around.

A September launch is expected for the 720, but the 710 is available now just under $150.
