PC World Podcast 40: Sony PS3 Slim, Non-Skanks, and Jailbreaking Tales

This week on the PC World Podcast, editors Robert Strohmeyer, Tim Moynihan, Ginny Mies, and Darren Gladstone discuss a hodge-podge of the week's biggest tech news.

You can download the podcast here.

First up, Vogue model Liskula Cohen won a lawsuit this week to reveal the name of a blogger who called her a "skank" and a "ho" on--you guessed it--the "Skanks of NYC" blog. As such, it may set a legal precedent to defend against those who sling mud on the Internet. Hear the gang's thoughts on the matter in this week's podcast.

The big gaming news this week is Sony's PS3 Slim, a slender, cheaper version of the popular Playstation 3 gaming console and Blu-ray player. Darren Gladstone checks out the specs and pricing, and tells you what you'll be compromising if you pick up the slimmed-down console.

Finally, we've received some helpful reader feedback on last week's iPhone jailbreaking and homebrew Palm Pre apps discussion. Listen to the podcast to hear some of our readers' favorite lesser-known apps and jailbreaking experiences.
