Ever struggled to complete an overly tricky Sudoku puzzle? Fear not as a geeky, fun solution is here. Say hello to the Sudoku Solver!

Hans Andersson, a popular Swedish hacker, has taken a readily available Lego Mindstorms kit and hacked it to solve any Sudoku puzzle it's presented with. The robot starts by scanning the puzzle using a light sensor and after doing the math, begins physically writing down the solution.

If you want to attempt this hack all you will need is a love of Lego, a little technical know-how, and some spare time. The details on how to have your very own puzzle solving robot are expected soon. In the meantime, check out the below video of the bot in action:
