Acer Aspire One 751h Netbook

Has your back-to-school budget bottomed out? Buy.com has the Acer Aspire One 751h netbook for $327 with free shipping. It sports an 11.6-inch screen, a 1.33GHz Atom processor, 1GB of memory, a 160GB hard drive, and Windows XP preinstalled. We liked the keyboard and screen on the Aspire One 751h, but the mouse button didn't thrill us--you might want to bring your own mouse.

MSI X340 Ultraportable Laptop

If you need a little more power in your portable, JR.com is offering the MSI X340 ultraportable laptop for $700 with free shipping, $100 off the retail price. In our review of the X340 we called it the "average Joe's MacBook Air." Its specs are a step up from the typical netbook: It's based on a 1.4GHz Core Solo processor, a 320GB hard drive, 2GB of memory, and a 13.4-inch 1366-by-768-resolution display. And at 2.8 pounds (with battery) and less than 1 inch thick, it's plenty portable.

HP Pavilion dv6z Gaming Laptop

The Aspire One is efficient and the MSI X340 is sleek, but neither of them will scratch your gaming itch. Toshiba 40RV525U 40-Inch LCD HDTV

Do yourself a favor: Take the money you saved on a computer and spend it on something nice, like a Toshiba 40-inch 1080p HDTV, which 6ave.com is selling for $637 (down from the $800 retail price). Sony DSC-T900 12-Megapixel Digital Camera

That's not a bad price considering the camera went for $380 when it first released earlier this year.
