Klipsch has released an updated version of its iGroove SXT docking speaker system.

New in the latest version is individual driver amplification for the two 2.5-inch woofers and two 3/4-inch tweeters, which Klipsch says "virtually eliminates distortion and significantly improves sonic performance." The company also re-tuned the bass ports on the sides to remove noise.

The new iGroove SXT also works with any iPod with a 30-pin connector, including all iPhone models, and has passed Apple's "Works with iPhone" certification.

Klipsch has also added a 1000mA rapid recharge circuit to the system, for quickly recharging an iPod or iPhone. The company says its is the first iPod speaker dock on the market to include such a feature.

The price remains at $150.
