The N120 carries a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 processor, a 160GB hard drive, and 1GB of RAM. The price is a good deal for a model that's currently in third place on our Top 10 Netbooks chart. In our review of the N120, we particularly liked the keyboard, the touchpad, and the battery life.

MSI X340 13-Inch Ultraportable

If you need a little more power in your portable than what a netbook can provide, consider the MSI X340 ultraportable laptop. ZipZoomfly.com is selling the MSI X340 for $640. When we reviewed the X340, we called it the "average Joe's MacBook Air." Its specs are a step up from those of the typical netbook, as it's built around a 1.4GHz Core Solo processor, a 320GB hard drive, 2GB of memory, and a 13.4-inch 1366-by-768-resolution display. At 2.8 pounds (with battery) and at less than 1 inch thick, it's plenty portable, too.

Canon PowerShot SX120 IS 10-Megapixel Digital Camera With 4GB SDHC Card
