You know there are a lot of ways to get rid of a cellphone. You can throw it in the trash, you can give it away or you can just keep it in a box full of out of date tech gadgets. Or, you can drown it in a large glass of beer. And believe it or not, that's exactly what one guy did with his Palm Pre just a few days ago.
One Pre user was having a tough time with his device, having experienced three cracked screens on three separate Palm Pre's, all in a matter of 3 months. Having decided to get another phone, this guy's boss said that if he dropped his Palm Pre into a glass of beer, he'd get him a brand spankin' new iPhone. And not being one to pass up a free iPhone, or one to pass up the opportunity to actually drop an expensive electronic device into beer, the former Pre user obliged, and one of his friends was kind enough to capture the whole ordeal on video for our viewing pleasure.
And for the record, the beer in question was Miller Light.
