Lost in the hubbub of all the another announcements Apple made Tuesday was the release of a new standalone Apple Remote.

The new $19 remote, which is longer than the original model and clad in aluminum to match the new iMacs released Tuesday, still offers four directional buttons, a menu button, and a play/pause button.

The only difference in layout is that the play/pause button has been moved out of the center of the directional buttons. It's now located next to the menu button, right below the directional buttons.
