If your business requires you to respond to e-mail or mail requests, you may wish there were a way to quickly create form-letter type responses to varying requests. There is a way, and The Form Letter Machine (donationware with nag screen) may be just what you need. With very little effort, you can build a form letter creator that lets you mix and match different responses, and combine them so that they address any request that you might come across.
For example, let's say you're in a business in which you ship goods to people. Whenever you get a request via e-mail, you would like to send back a response. That response may vary according to whether the request is from an existing customer or a new one, whether the item is in stock, whether you no longer carry it, and so on. Rather than having to type a new response from scratch each time, you can simply have the Form Letter Machine build a response from you, based on boilerplate text that you create.
Building a template is exceptionally easy. You create text boxes and radio button, and associate text with each. Then when you want to create a letter, simply choose the right boxes and buttons in The Form Letter Machine, and the template you've built creates the letter for you. Copy it into your e-mail or word processor, and you're done.
A nice bonus is that the program is donationware. If you have a need to send out many letters like this, The Form Letter Machine is well worth the download.
Note: This program is donationware. It is free to try, but the author accepts and encourages donations towards further development. Also, you will need to request a freeware license to stop initial nag screen.
