Through December 12, in-store only, Wal-Mart is offering a $50 Wal-Mart gift card with the $199 purchase of a Nintendo Wii system. If you routinely shop at Wal-Mart, that's basically a Nintendo Wii for $149--a price that rivals what we saw during this year's Black Friday sales. This video game console is known for its innovative motion controller, built-in wireless, ability to download games from past consoles (such as Nintendo 64 and Super NES), and SD Card reader. Its graphics are not as good as the Xbox 360's or the PlayStation 3's, and it cannot play CDs or DVDs, but it is a fun console for the casual gamer.
